missile was discovered at a very late stage, because the warhead of this
missile is separate from the body, and with the help of wings and anti-jamming
navigation systems.”
For the early ballistic
missiles used by Houthis and Iran, the whole missile travels from the moment of
lunching till it hits the target, and that make it very big and increases it’s
radar cross section (RCS) in the radars and make it easy to discover, track and
lock and fire on it.
For this new missile the warhead was dropped from the rest of the missile probably
in falling phase, and with extremely lower volume and less radar cross section
(RCS) in the radars, it made it very hard to detect it.

missile was heading in a zigzag direction towards the target, which made the
interception process very difficult."
And for the failure
in interception, that was caused by the variable trajectory of the warhead, which
make it impossible to predict it trajectory and its finale target.

This technology is
used just in missiles developed by the super powers in the world, and if it produced
by the Iranian and Houthis it’s will break the power balance in the whole
region.
Take note that no one detected the Houthis missile in the whole region, the US destroyers, the European bases, the allied countries, and even the Israelis detected it late and couldn’t intercepted it the multilayer air defenses, and of Arrow 2, David's Sling, and the Iron Dome.
