Iran Raises The Red Flag Of Revenge On The Dome Of The Jamkaran Mosque

Iranian authorities have raised a red flag on the dome of the Jamkaran Mosque, which in Shiite tradition symbolizes both the unjust bloodshed and a call for revenge for a murdered person.

This was after assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran by an Israeli attack as claimed, the Palestinian resistance leader was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian.

The statement of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard: “There is no doubt that this crime of the Zionist regime will face a harsh and painful response from the strong and huge resistance front, especially Islamic Iran, and the blessing of the efforts of the "Martyr of Jerusalem"  Dr. Ismail Haniyeh will help them defend the cause and the rights of the Palestinian nation.”

Also, a statement from the Iranian mission to the UN said: “The response to this murder will in fact be a more severe special operation aimed at instilling deep regret in the perpetrator.”
